This day trip takes us from Ljubljana to Škocjan caves, mysterious karst world which has no shortage of natural wonders. The exceptional volume of the underground canyon, many waterfalls and underground halls is what distinguishes the Škocjan Caves from other caves and places. This underground marvel, natural and cultural site inscribed on the UNESCO world heritage list, continue to impress visitors with their unique beauty.
After cave visit, we continue to Rakov Škocjan and learn more about the mysterious life of karstic rivers in the Rakov Škocjan regional park, first proclaimed protected landscape in Slovenia.
On the way to lunch we have an option to stop at Lake Cerknica, one of the largest intermittent lakes in Europe.
We return through the Ljubljana Marshes, included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, as a unique landscape at the doorstep of Ljubljana. Here you can block out the bustle of the city, meet with nature and focus on yourself and your thoughts.

If you are looking for things to do in Slovenia, visit of our karst landscape should be your top priority. During this trip you will do few amazing walks in the places that should only exist in a fairytale. How much we will walk only depends on your wishes. If you will have any energy left at the end of the day, we really recommend joining us on our “City from the water tour” as its a perfect combination for this trip. Why? We would like you to feel like a friend, not tourist. We offer our activities in small groups (up to 8) which is just right group size for a relaxed trip where everything is flexible. In addition, there is always more than one opportunity to taste delicious local flavors. Besides visiting main sights, you can choose to end the day on a canoe.

The trip will not be cancelled due to weather conditions, but we will try our best to make a great tour even if the weather won’t be the best – in this case we reserve the right to change the itinerary if we believe that some places/services cannot be seen/used during bad weather.
We will inform you where your pick-up point will be after booking. We will try to pick you up as close to your accommodation as possible. This applies to your drop-off location as well. Once the booking is complete, we will send all needed information to organize pick up arrangements.
Note: If you are booking within 24 hours of the tour/activity departure time, we cannot guarantee hotel pick -up. Please bear in mind that we have multiple pick-up points, so it may take up to 15-20 minutes for the guide to get to you.

In case of refund, you will be refunded within 72 hours after your cancellation.
