“Ljubljana active trips” or short “LAT” shall hereinafter refer to Turizem in šport, Tadej Tekavčič S.P. The word “client/s” shall refer to the person or persons participating in tours or activities conducted or sold by Ljubljana active trips including minors. All clients wishing to make a booking have to carefully read and understand the Terms and Conditions and Declaration of Awareness, Liability and Joint Liability. By making a booking the client accepts to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and Declaration of Awareness, Liability and Joint Liability. LAT reserves the right to decline any booking.
Refunds and cancellations by clients are limited in accordance with this Cancellation Policy.
All activities performed and organized directly by LAT can be canceled by client with the following refunds: 100% refund for cancellations more than 24 hours prior to activity and a 0% refund for cancellations less than 24 hours prior to activity or in case of no-show.
For all other activities that are only soled and not implemented by LAT, such as rafting, stand up paddling, kayaking or any other activity sold or advertised by LAT only a deposit is demanded from the client for booking confirmation. In case a client cancels any of these activities at least 24 hours prior to activity he or she is offered a 100% refund. If the activity is canceled by client later than 24 hours prior to activity no refund is offered. The time considered for the determination of refund % is the start time of activity.
Once booking is placed expanses and commitments are incurred on clients’ behalf. Activities that we offer all have limited number of participants. When an activity is booked a place for the client is reserved and this way occupied for other clients. Cancellation fees are applied to cover any expanses that may occur due to clients’ cancellation.
LAT reserves the right to cancel activities due to inappropriate weather conditions, insufficient bookings or events beyond our control. If your tour is cancelled by LAT, you will be issued a full refund.
LAT organizes services and holds contracts with other companies and organizations to make activities possible. Clients knowingly and voluntarily agree to take part in an activity involving an increased level of danger and therefore, in the case of accident, it should be taken in account that clients are knowingly accepting this risk. Since LAT cannot guarantee absolute safety while the activity is under way, in the case of accident or mishap during the activity clients accept joint liability.
There is no travel insurance included in the cost of any LAT tour, activity or product. Client acknowledges that any insurance that client wishes to obtain in connection with any LAT tour, activity or product is client’s sole responsibility.
Nevertheless, LAT highly recommends that client purchase own travel insurance that covers all of client’s travels. LAT strongly recommends that clients are covered by a comprehensive insurance policy which includes: personal accident, medical expenses, personal baggage, money and public liability.
Our company is insured for insolvency. This guarantees the amount that client paid in booking client travel package as well as client repatriation in the event of insolvency by LAT. Client agree that this the only amounts that LAT is liable to pay to client in connection with the tour, activity or package that client books.
It is your responsibility to make sure you have a valid passport, and all necessary visas, permits or certificates for selected trip. LAT is not liable for any problems, delays or denied entry in the event if you are not in possession of valid travel documents.
In case you are not sure whether you need a visa to enter the Republic of Slovenia, check with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Third-country nationals must hold a visa in order to enter the Republic of Slovenia.
You agree to comply with the authority and direction of the LAT guides or LAT office support, and the laws and regulations of the countries visited, including customs and foreign exchange restrictions.
It is client’s responsibility to meet the transportation provided by LAT at the correct time and location for departure. In the event you miss a planned departure, any extra travel costs incurred are client’s sole responsibility and paid by client. Passengers who miss a departure time due to delay or cancellation of incoming transportation are not entitled to a refund. Due to the nature of the services provided, LAT will not be liable for any damage or costs you may incur if any service departs, starts, arrives or ends later than the specified time, even if as a result client misses a connecting service or some other scheduled event.
LAT is not responsible for any delay, deviation, or cancellation due to weather conditions. No trip may be cancelled or changed by client at any time on the basis of weather conditions.
LAT is not responsible for delays due to labor disputes, border problems or other political factors.
LAT is not responsible for delays due to mechanical failure, or other issues that may arise and are outside of LAT’ control.
You must notify LAT in the shortest amount of time possible of any irregularities that might occur during a tour or activity. LATs’ responsibility is to eliminate any such irregularity in the shortest amount of time possible.
In the event that any irregularities were not eliminated on the spot, client can complain and request a refund or compensation after completion of a tour or activity. You need to file a complaint in written form in no more than two (2) months after completion of a tour or activity.
Participation in any of our tours, activities and/or services is strictly voluntary. As in all human endeavors, there is a level of risk. We do our best to keep the risk at a minimum. LAT its contractors, parent and subsidiary companies, and employees assume no liability or responsibility for any injury, loss, damage, inconvenience, sustained by any person using its services. We will not be held in any way responsible for injuries to body, person, or property incurred during the tour or activity. We reserve the right to deny participation to anyone for any reason at any time. Thank You for understanding.
Clients must know that LAT guides, instructors, drivers and representatives’ decisions are final on all matters. We do not tolerate illegal drugs and alcohol. LAT reserves the right to immediately expel from the group anyone engaging in these activities. Any financial loss on behalf of the customer is not to be reimbursed by LAT. LAT will not be held liable for lost or stolen luggage.
LAT may provide personal information to its third-party contractors for the operation of activities and services. LAT will not reveal customers’ personal information to a third party without your explicit approval. LAT’s third party contractors are bound by this same privacy policy and will not reveal customers’ personal information to a third party without your explicit approval.
LAT respects the privacy of the visitors of its website and ensures that personal information you submit to us will be treated confidentially. Processing of personal data is carried out in agreement with the requirements set by the Personal Data Privacy Law of the Republic of Slovenia.
The Terms and Conditions are subject to the law and the exclusive jurisdiction in the courts of the Republic Slovenia and will be governed by Slovenian law.
